There is a common misconception that it is not Jewish to believe that Yeshua ben David was the messiah of his day.  When Yeshua lived in Israel, all his followers were Israelites. In the first century, after his death the early followers were mostly Jewish and were zealous for Torah. They understood that Yeshua’s role was to bring Torah back to our people in order to be “or l’goyim” a light to the nations. They, including Rabbi Shaul (Paul)  continued all the requirements that Torah called for such as circumcision, kashrut, celebrating Shabbat and the Biblical Feasts.

She’ar Yashuv does not convert Jews to Christianity. We are living proof that a Jewish person who believes that Yeshua was a great rabbi and messiah while remaining fully Jewish and live a Torah observant life.
