What is Messianic Judaism?

PDFPrintE-mail

Messianic Judaism is a movement of Jews and Gentiles committed to Yeshua the Messiah that embraces the covenantal responsibility of Jewish life and identity, rooted in Torah, expressed in tradition, and renewed and applied in the context of the new covenant. (Yirmeyahu 31:31-33).

What do we mean by this?

  • The Messianic Jewish community is a Jewish community within the larger Jewish community.

  • We acknowledge responsibility to live our lives faithful to Torah.

  • We respect and value our Jewish tradition.

  • We seek to understand our Judaism in and through the teachings of the Living Torah, Yeshua the Messiah and through the context of the Hebrew Scriptures.
